Who is responsible for your data

The controller is AuroraIQ. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].

This policy covers the auroraiq.cloud website and its contact form. The data you process in AuroraIQ Cloud or in shoofi is covered by your service agreement.

The data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, your email address, your company name if you give it, the subject you pick and your message.
  • Audience measurement, if you agree: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, where the visit came from, technical information about your browser and device, an approximate location and page speed measurements.
  • Usage analysis, if you agree: Microsoft Clarity records your interactions with the pages (clicks, scrolling, mouse movements) to help us improve them. It masks the content of input fields by default.
  • Technical data: your IP address is processed by Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site. Our server also keeps it in memory for 10 minutes, to limit abusive use of the form.

We sell no data and do not use it for targeted advertising.

Why, and on what basis

  • Answering your message: the pre-contractual steps you ask for, or our legitimate interest in answering whoever writes to us.
  • Measuring the site's audience, speed and usage: your consent, given through the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Protecting the site and the form against abuse: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Who receives your data

  • Google (Gmail): contact form messages arrive in our mailbox, hosted by Google.
  • Google (Google Analytics): audience measurement.
  • Microsoft (Clarity): usage analysis.
  • Cloudflare: protecting and delivering the site.

Apart from these providers, only the AuroraIQ team has access to your messages.

These providers may process data outside your country, in particular in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the safeguards they offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: 3 years after our last exchange, unless a contract follows.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months at most.
  • Microsoft Clarity data: 13 months at most.
  • Your cookie choice: 6 months, after which we ask again.
  • IP address kept to limit submissions: 10 minutes.

Cookies

The site sets no cookie of its own. If you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics sets the _ga cookie and a _ga_ cookie followed by an identifier, which last up to 2 years, and Microsoft Clarity sets the _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day) cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie, which is not used to track you.

None of these tools loads before you agree. Your choice is stored in your browser, without a cookie, for 6 months. You can change it at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page: if you withdraw your consent, the measurement cookies are deleted. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, erase or port your data, ask us to restrict its processing, or object to it. Write to [email protected]: we answer within one month.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to the mailbox that receives your messages is restricted to the AuroraIQ team.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows its latest version.
